DHOWA TECHNOS Privacy Policy

DHOWA TECHNOS CO., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company ") has established the Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") for the handling of personal information of those who use the Company's services (hereinafter referred to as "users ") as follows. The Company will establish a personal information protection system and promote the protection of personal information by making officers, employees, contract employees, and non-regular employees aware of the importance of protecting personal information and enforcing these measures.

Article 1 (Personal Information)
1 "Personal Information" refers to "Personal Information" as set forth in the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Act No. 57 of 2003, hereinafter referred to as the "Personal Information Protection Act") and refers to information concerning a living individual that can identify a specific individual by name, date of birth, or other description contained in such information, or includes a personal identification code.

1 The Company will acquire the personal information of users and use the acquired information to the extent necessary for the following purposes. In the event personal information is used beyond the scope of the following purposes, prior consent shall be obtained from the user in an appropriate manner.
a. In order to provide the Company's services (hereinafter referred to as the "Services"),
b. In order to improve the contents of the Services, or to develop new services
c. To provide information on new features, updates, campaigns, etc., of the Services and other services provided by the Company (including sending of e-mail, flyers, and other direct mailings) d. For maintenance, important notices, and other communications as needed
e. To respond to feedback and inquiries from users regarding the Services (including identification confirmation)
f. To report the usage of the Services to users
g. In order to request cooperation in questionnaires and interviews regarding the Services and to request participation in various events, or to report the results of such activities

Article 3 (Management and Protection of Personal Information)
1 Personal information shall be strictly managed. Except in the following cases, data shall not be disclosed or provided to any third party without the consent of the user. In addition, taking into account safety, the Company will take measures to prevent and remedy risks such as unauthorized access to personal information, loss, destruction, alteration, and leakage of personal information.
a. Cases in which it is necessary to protect the life, body, or property of an individual and in which it is difficult to obtain the consent of the user
b. Cases where it is particularly necessary to improve public health or promote the sound development of children, and where it is difficult to obtain the consent of the user
c. Cases in which it is necessary to cooperate with a state organ, a local government, or an entrusted person in executing the affairs prescribed in laws and regulations, and in which obtaining the consent of the user is likely to hinder the execution of said affairs
d. Other cases permitted by law

Article 4 (Entrustment of Handling of Personal Information)
1 The Company may outsource all or part of the handling of personal data to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use. In this case, the Company fully examines the eligibility as an outsourcee, stipulates the items related to the obligation of confidentiality in the contract, and conducts necessary and appropriate supervision of the outsourcee.

Article 5 (Disclosure of Personal Information)
1 In the event the disclosure of personal information held by the Company is requested by the user (limited to the user; the same shall apply hereinafter in this article), the Company shall disclose such information to the user without delay. Provided, however, that in the event any one of the following applies due to disclosure, the Company may not disclose all or part of such information, and in the event the Company decides not to disclose such information, the Company shall notify the user of such decision without delay.
a. Cases where there is a risk of harm to the life, body, property, or any other rights or interests of a user or a third party
b. Cases that may significantly interfere with the proper performance of the Company's business
c. In the event of any other violation of laws and regulations

Article 6 (Correction of Retained Personal Data)
1 In the event the personal information held by the Company is incorrect, the user may request that it correct, add, or delete such personal information (hereinafter referred to as "Correction").
2 Upon receipt of the request set forth in the preceding paragraph, the Company shall conduct necessary investigations without delay, and in the event the Company determines that the request set forth in the preceding paragraph is well-grounded as a result thereof, the Company shall correct such Personal Information without delay.
3 The Company will contact the user without delay if it makes a judgment regarding the implementation or non-implementation of Correction based on the previous item.

Article 7 (Suspension of Use of Personal Information)
1 Users may request the Company to discontinue using, delete, or discontinue providing to a third party the personal data held by the Company (hereinafter referred to as "Suspension of Use").
2 Upon receipt of the request as set forth in the preceding paragraph, the Company shall conduct necessary investigations without delay, and in the event the Company determines that the request as set forth in the preceding paragraph is well-grounded, the Company shall discontinue the use of such personal data.
However, in cases where due to requiring great expense, or in other cases where it is difficult to discontinue using personal information, and where necessary alternative measures are taken to protect the rights and interests of users, such alternative measures shall be taken.
3 The Company will contact the user without delay if it decides to suspend or not implement the use in accordance with the previous section.

Article 8 (Procedures for changing Privacy Policy)
1 The Company will review the content of this Policy as appropriate and strive to improve it. The contents of this Policy may be changed except by law or other matters otherwise stipulated in this Policy. The revised Privacy Policy shall become effective when it is notified to the user or posted on the Company's website in the manner prescribed by the Company.

Article 9 (Compliance with laws and regulations)
1 The Company will comply with the laws and regulations of Japan and other regulations applicable to the personal information held by the Company.

Article 10 (Response to Complaints and Consultations)
1 The Company accepts complaints and inquiries from users regarding the handling of personal information and responds appropriately and promptly. The Company will also respond promptly and appropriately to requests from users for disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, use, or refusal to provide personal information.

Article 11 (Safety Management Measures)
1 Personal information entrusted to the Company by users will be prevented from unauthorized intrusion of personal information, loss, destruction, falsification, and leakage of personal information by implementing organizational, physical, human, and technical measures, such as restricting access to personal information files, recording access logs, and implementing security measures to prevent unauthorized access from outside. In the event of an accident, such as a leak of personal information of a user, the Company shall promptly report to the competent authority in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and related guidelines, and shall take necessary measures, such as preventive measures and recurrence preventive measures, in accordance with the instructions of the relevant competent authority.
